Bill McDonald is Lima One Capital’s Senior Director of Construction and Risk Management. He plays a pivotal role in integrating construction management, facilities oversight, and risk management. His responsibilities include leading oversight of key construction projects, managing facilities across all Lima One Capital sites—including the company’s new headquarters—negotiating office renewals, conducting site visits for origination activities, and overseeing construction projects supporting broader asset management efforts in the servicing team. Bill’s strategic direction aligns construction efforts with broader business goals. Upon joining Lima One in 2017, Bill built a best-in-class construction management department that supports clients while identifying and mitigating risk on an hourly basis, giving Lima One an advantage over its competitors in customer experience and risk management. In 2022, he was promoted to senior director and assumed authority over Lima One’s internal valuation team, before moving to his current role in 2024. Bill is a licensed general contractor and inspector who started and operated his own general contracting and real estate inspection firms in California and Maryland. He has more than 25 years of experience in residential and commercial construction.
